Recommended in groups of two or more this is a middle to ground level feeding fish. This fish can reach about 3inchs in total.

Tank Size and Setup

A minimum tank size of 50 litres is recommended for keeping a pair of Blue Ram Cichlids. Create a natural habitat using a sandy substrate complemented by plants, rocks, and driftwood. Maintain water temperatures between 24–28°C and a pH range of 6.0–7.5. Consistent water changes and efficient filtration are essential. Providing ample hiding places helps minimize stress and encourages natural behaviours, ensuring your fish feel safe and comfortable.

Feeding

The Blue Ram Cichlid thrives on an omnivorous diet that includes a mix of high-quality flakes or micro pellets as staple foods. Supplement their nutrition with live or frozen options such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms. Offering blanched vegetables like spinach or zucchini occasionally adds dietary variety.
