Flame Dwarf Gourami thrive in calm, thrive in aquariums abundant with plants that replicate their natural environment. Providing a calm area helps minimize stress since they are sensitive to loud disturbances. Additionally, water conditions with a neutral pH and soft composition are ideal to closely simulate their native habitat. To recreate their natural setting:

  • Add plants like Java moss or Anubias for shelter.
  • Include floating plants to diffuse light and cover the surface.
  • Maintain pH at 6.0-7.5 and temperature at 22°C-28°C.
  • Use a minimum 20-liter tank for comfort.

Flame Dwarf Gourami is a tranquil species that thrives alongside other non-aggressive fish. To minimize stress, it’s best to avoid housing them with large or hostile species. Additionally, males may display aggression toward vividly coloured
