Black / White Ghost Knifefish - Apteronotus albifrons

The white Ghost Knifefish has the scientific name Apteronotus albifrons. It's also sometimes referred to as the Black Ghost Knifefish, despite its white or albino coloration, according to online aquarium resources and fish retailers. This species is known for its elongated body, lack of dorsal fins, and unique swimming style.
